SELF EMPLOYED ASSISTANT REQUIRED
We are currently looking to source self employed sub contractors who we can call upon when required.
Job Title: General assistant
Job Description: To assist with general day to day duties within our Electrical, Plumbing and General Maintenance Company. Such as ladder holding, collection of parts, light – medium weight lifting, and depending on individuals ability carrying out small maintenance tasks.
Rates of pay: We will pay £6.70 per hour, from the time you are asked to arrive at our office, until you are given consent to leave by whoever you are working alongside. We will pay a minimum of 3hrs even if you are only required for a shorter period of time. Any additional time worked over 3hrs will be paid per half hour.
Use of own vehicle allowance: Occasionally it may be necessary to use your own vehicle. We will pay an additional £0.25 per mile.
Payment Methods: Our payment runs are carried out at the end of each month. We will calculate hours worked and vehicle allowance and we will require an invoice from yourselves for this amount which we shall pay either by cheque or BACS (which ever is preferable to yourself).
Invoices should be made to: H. Wren Maintenance Services Ltd and include in the description an itemised cost for labour and vehicle hire.
